MS Teams CT Text - 2.0 Installation Guide

Notes

The first installation of CT Text 2.0 should be on a user with Office 365 administrative rights in order to ensure the necessary permissions in the Office 365 tenant are granted. If not prompted during the install process, you can click here to grant the necessary permissions.

***If YakChat app(s) are currently installed for either a user or for an entire Teams org, the YakChat app(s) will need be uninstalled before installing the CT Text app and the CT Text bot. Failure to do so will result in Teams failing to install the CT Text apps with an error of "this app already exists"***

If you are updating from CT Text 1.0, please not that the CT Text Bot is no longer needed as separate app. You will need to uninstall from Teams on the Windows Desktop first before isntallation.

The 2.0 version has everything rolled into a single app. The CT Text Bot and CT Text 1.0 can both be uninstalled after the install of 2.0 is complete.
