How To Enable the eSIM Ingetraion with CT Text

Overview

CallTower offers an eSIM product for both Microsoft (Teams Mobile) and Cisco (Webex Go). These products allow users to make and receive calls via their Teams/Webex phone numbers through the native calling experience on their mobile devices (without the need of any apps).

CallTower also offers a unique product differentiator that can integrate SMS Messages (via CT Text) with the eSIM offering.  This would additionally allow users to send and receive SMS messages with their Teams/Webex phone numbers through the native messaging experience on their phone (also removing the requirement of additional branded apps (such as Teams or Webex apps).

This integration with CallTower's eSIM service means that users will be able to:

  1. Receive inbound messages in both the Tango eSIM and the YakChat service using the same number
  2. Send outbound messages from both the Tango eSIM or the YakChat service using the same number
  3. Move to their YakChat app for more advanced text features and the texts sent from the mobile will be available on the desktop
