Polycom CX phone lock feature no longer available
In October 2015 a system update was applied which disabled the phone lock feature entirely for all customers. This was a feature specific to the CX phone line and is no longer available. Should questions or concerns come in from customers, support should explain that this to the customer.
Support should also help minimize the effects of this change by explaining this locking feature only prevented someone from being able to access the user's contact list or calendar information (if available) and didn't actually prevent anyone from making or receiving phone calls.
