Line Properties

Manage Line Property Steps:

In-Line Edit:

1. Highlight the phone to modify the lines. 

2. Select Line Properties from the Manage Phone menu.

3. The line properties screen will be presented on the right side of the screen.  The list of phones remains on the left side.

4. For in-line changes, double-click on the line to change and enter new information or update the existing information.  All the information can be changed with exception ofthe DN. If you try to do in-line editing for the DN you will get a pop-up error message. To change a DN the line has to be deleted and re-added.

5. Click the Save button to keep the changes or Cancel to abandon any changes.

Note:  The first line cannot be inline edited because it is the user’s primary DN.  Any line other than 1 can be inline edited.

 

Update:

1. Highlight the phone to modify the lines. 

2. Select Line Properties from the Manage Phone menu.

3. Select the Update button from the top of the screen.

4. An Update Line panel will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.  Edit the information: 

a. Label

b. Internal Caller ID

c. Call Forward options

d. No Answer Ring Duration

e. MWI Policy

f. Ring (Idle)

g. Ring (In Use)

h. Max Calls

i. Busy Trigger

j. Call Pickup

5. Click the Save button to save the changes or the Clear button to clear the screen if needed.

Delete:

1. Highlight the phone to delete the lines. 

2. Select Line Properties from the Manage Phone menu.

3. Select Delete button from the top of the screen.

4. Acknowledge the delete on the popup screen.
