Cisco Connect Admin - Wireless Headset Remote
This is a feature that allows users to remotely receive ring indication, adjust the volume, and to answer calls, end calls, and mute calls using a wireless headset. For information about how to use the wireless headset, refer users to the wireless headset documentation.
Wireless hook switch control can be enabled only on the following phone models: 6945, 7821, 7841, 7861, 7942, 7945, 7962, 7965, 7975, 881, 8841, 8845, 8851, 8861, 8865
By default, the wireless headset remote hook switch control feature is disabled.
Only use Cisco capable wireless headsets.
Enable Wireless Hook Switch Steps
1. Navigate to phones tab, then click the phone you want to modify.
2. Click on Phone Properties
3. Check the switch for Wireless Hook Switch to enable
4. Click Save
