Microsoft Teams – How to Make an International Call
Goal
This article will outline the process of placing a call from Microsoft Teams to an international number.
Requirements

Teams User placing the call must be licensed and enabled for Teams Enterprise Voice and have a Teams phone number assigned."

Depending on the country you are calling, it may require an increased Calling Tier. Information on CallTower’s International calling tiers can be found here: CallTower Information - Enable International Dialing - CallTower Solutions Center (uc.solutions)
Dialing Internationally
Step 1: Open Microsoft Teams and select the “Calls”/Phone Icon inner the upper left hand corner
Step 2: In the Teams Dial Pad, enter the appropriate Country Exit Code, followed by the destination Country Code, followed by the local number in the country you are dialing.
Example: when dialing from the USA to Germany, you would dial 011 (the US Exit Code), then 49 (the country code for Germany), then the local Germany number you wish to reach.
Each country has its own Exit Code and Entry Code / Country Code; please refer to the below table for some examples, if a country you need this info for is not in the table, Country Exit Codes and Entry Codes can readily be found online:
