    • According to Microsoft if a customer has individual pooled minutes either with E5 or E3 voice add-on once minutes are expired the user will not be able to answer a call.  (Need to confirm this),  Clarity Connect calls will ring in on the Hosting provider PSTN – These should not be affected by the O365 minutes.

  • Do I need to have anything located on-premises?
    • There is no need to have any on-premises infrastructure – Clarity Connect simply connects to your agents via federation, whether they are homed in Office 365 or a hosted version of Skype for Business.  However, if you choose keep Skype for Business on-premises, Clarity Connect can still access your agents via federation.

  • Can I use my existing E5 licenses?
    • Yes, your agents can use their existing E5 licenses.

  • Where do my agents reside?
    • Your agents can reside in Office 365, a hosted instance of Skype for Business, or an on-premises installation of Skype for Business.  Clarity Connect can then access these agents via federation.  Please refer to the following call flow diagram for further details.
