Clarity Connect Admin - Browser Settings


Provide instruction on how to manage Browser settings for Clarity Connect


Add to Trusted sites
  1. Open Internet Options


  1. Select Security
  2. Select Trusted Sites
  3. Enter the website as http://"domain" and click Add


Configure Automatic log on
  1. Open Internet Options


  1. Select the Security Tab
  2. Click Custom Level near the bottom of the screen
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select the radio button "Automatic logon with current user name and password"


  1. Click Ok to close Security Settings
  2. Click Ok to close Internet Options
  3. Close all Internet Explorer windows
  4. Launch Internet Explorer and navigate to the Clarity Portal.  You will be prompted for a username and password as usual. 
  5. Enter your username in the format DOMAIN\SAMAccountName. This will be similar to 123456_username.

Note: Using your e-mail address to login will not save the credentials. It is important to use the DOMAIN\SAMAccount format. 

  1. Enter your Skype for Business password.
  2. Make sure to check the box "Remember my credentials" 

Note: To verify it worked, close all Internet Explorer windows and relaunch. You should not be prompted for a password. 

Note: When the Skype for Business password is changed, these credentials will no longer work. Enter the new password and check Remember My Credentials.
