ATA - Factory Reset 186/188
Goal
The purpose of this article is to provide step by step instructions on how to factory reset a Cisco ATA 186 or Cisco ATA 188.
Resolution/Steps
MAKE SURE THAT ATA IS POWERED ON AND NOT PLUGGED INTO NETWORK
Step 1:
- Using an analog phone with full keypad (Unhooked) plugged into the "Phone 1" port. Press the function button on the top of the ATA.
- "Phone 1" Port
- Function button:

- Enter the following: 322873738#*
- Enter * to save
- Hang Up
