Answer a Call:

When you receive an incoming call, the phone rings and the screen displays the information of the incoming call. You can choose to answer the incoming call.

1. Do one of the following:

  • Pick up the handset.
  • Press the Speakerphone key (clipboard_e0d6044cfdb99c09906dd0d9434e6c42d.png) .
  • Press the HEADSET key (clipboard_e1961cdb3c79e7f46dbccebabcb65c27b.png).
  • Press Answer or the line key that has the flashing green LED indicator.

Place a Call:

Do one of the following:

  1. Start typing a phone number (10-digit number, no extension).
    •  Select the desired line key.
    • Pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone key (clipboard_e0d6044cfdb99c09906dd0d9434e6c42d.png) or the HEADSET key ( clipboard_e1961cdb3c79e7f46dbccebabcb65c27b.png).
  2.  Enter a number or select a contact.
  3. Select Send.

Take a Call off Hold: 

  1. Press the HOLD key (clipboard_eec4e94c1362860239e8173cdd4b3ccff.png) or Resume.

Redial:

The phone keeps a record of all the placed calls. You can recall the contact you recently called.

1. Press the REDIAL key clipboard_ef3ea05f7d837e9ddcc1d07cad28766b4.png.

A record of the Placed Calls is displayed on the phone screen.

Transfer Call:

During a call, you can transfer the call to another contact. You can use one of three ways:

  1. Blind Transfer: Transfer a call directly to the third party without consulting.
  2. Attended Transfer (Consultative Transfer): Transfer a call with prior consulting.

Blind Transfer: 

You can transfer a call to another contact immediately without consulting with her/him first.

1. Press Transfer during an active call. The call is placed on hold.

2. Enter the number or contact you want to transfer to.

3. Press B Transfer.

Performing a Attended Transfer

1. Press Transfer during an active call. The call is placed on hold.

2. Enter the number or contact you want to transfer to, and then press Send .

3. Press Transfer when the second party answers.

Call Park

The Call Park feature allows a call to be placed in a parked positions and picked up at another phone. While on the call, press available Park button (Park 1 or Park 2). Hang up. The park position will now be flashing green on your phone and red on others. 

Retrieve Parked Call

At any phone, press the red parked button from any phone. 

Page

Lift the handset, press PAGE and make your announcement. Hang up.

Conference Call

  1. Press Conference during an active call. The call is placed on hold. 
  2. Enter the number or extension of the second party, then press Send
  3. Press Conference again when the second party answers. Three parties are now joined in the conference call. 

Note: You can split the conference call into two individual calls by pressing Split. 

Call History

  1. Press History
  2. Press the up or down arrow to select an entry from the list
  3. Do the following: 
    1. Press Send to call the entry
    2. Press Delete to delete the entry from the list
    3. Press Option, you can do the following:
      1. Select Detail to view detailed information about the entry
      2. Select Add to Contacts to add the entry to the local directory
      3. Select Add to Blacklist to add the entry to the blacklist
      4. Select Delete All to delete all entries fro the list. 

Voicemail-After hours

Inside Office – Lift handset. Dial *17

Outside Office- Dial VM Backdoor

When system answers dial your 4-digit extension number and #. Enter default password 1234 and  # again. System will as you to enter new password. Enter it twice followed by # each time. Press 1 to start recording name, press 1 to stop. Press # to approve.
