Teams Basic Troubleshooting
This is an article detailing usual issues encountered with Teams and how to solve them. It also contains best practices in regards to the operation of Teams as well as how to resolve most simple issues with the Microsoft Teams Program. Keep an eye out for future updates to this page.
Dial Pad Missing
If your dial pad is suddenly missing do the following:
Go to your Teams in the System Tray as per the picture and hit Quit
After this is done you will need to hit the Windows Key (ususally found next to the left Alt button) on your keyboard and R at the same time to open the Run Command, if done correctly it should look like the following:
From there Copy and Paste(Highlight with mouse and then hit Ctrl&C) the following(without quotes); "%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams" into the text entry field and hit OK
It should bring up a folder that looks like the following or similar enough to it:
Delete everything within that folder, then restart the Teams Client
