Five9 to Cisco Extension Dialing

Implementation of Extension Dialing from Five9 to Cisco

  1.  Create Extension Auto Attendant in Connect

a.     Please follow these instructions

                                                             i.      https://www.uc.solutions/Connect/Connect_Admin/003Configuration/Auto_Attendant/Auto_Attendant_Creation

  2.  Five9 Speed Dial Creation

a.     Log into login.five9.com

b.     Select the Administrator Icon

c.      Open the Java Application

d.     Login again

e.     Go to the VCC Admin Tool. Go to Actions->Configure

f.       Navigate to the ‘Speed Dial’ tab, then click ‘Add’

g.     Add speed dial code, DID (Full 10 digit DID) to the extension auto attendant and click OK.

h.     Click, ‘Exit’

  3.  Use of Speed Dial to reach extensions out of Cisco

a.     While in the Five9 Agent Interface, (Process is the same whether on a current call or not) click ‘Select Contact’

b.     Find the Speed Dial, select then click ‘Select Contact’

c.      Click Dial

d.      When the call connects, enter the extension of your party and transfer (or talk) to the party in which you were contacting.
