How to change an Exchange user to a CallManager user in the Admin Portal
This article will walk users through the process of using the Admin Portal to convert their Exchange Users into CallManager users.
Resolution
- Once logged into the Admin Portal click on Users and select the desired user.
- Click on Directory Services, then Properties.
- An additional window appears to the right. Under the Phone section, select the IP Phone drop down and select the correct phone number, then click Save.
- Wait for all functions under Events at the bottom of the screen to show a green checkmark.
- Click on Directory Services, then Roles and Types.
- An additional window appears to the right. Select the drop down for User Type and select Voicemail, then Save.
- Wait for all functions under Events at the bottom of the screen to show a green checkmark.
- Click on Directory Services, then Manage Services.
- An additional window appears to the right. Under Plan verify Voicemail Only and Standalone Voicecube automatically enabled with green icons.
