Connect - Edit Username

This article will walk users through the process of using the Admin Portal to update a User Name, and Domain.

NOTE: Username changes/Name changes should only be done if it's incorrectly entered, or the existing user's name has changed.  
Change the username if the user is being replaced by a completely new user can result in configuration issues.  In this case the old user should be deleted and the new added.

Change User Domain Steps:

1. Log into the Admin Portal and navigate to the Users tab. 

2. Select the user and double click on the Domain.
3. Select the correct domain from the dropdown and Save. 


 

Change User Last Name Steps:

1. Log into the Admin Portal and navigate to the Users tab. 
2. Select the user you want to change. 

 

3. Double Click the Last Name field to make it editable. Change the last name field and the username on the left and the display name on the right will automatically update.
4. Click Save

 

Change User Username Steps:  

1. Log into the Admin Portal and navigate to the Users tab. 
2. Select the user you want to change. 

 

3. Double click the Username field to make it editable. Update the username. (Note: This does not update the Display Name (this has to be updated manually if you are just changing the username only)
4. Click Save
