How To: Direct to Voicemail (DVM) Transfer

This article will walk users through the process of transferring callers directly to another user's voicemail.

DVM (Direct to Voicemail) is a CallManager Route Point. Cisco users can call a person’s voicemail directly without ringing the user’s phone.

Instructions

  1. Press Transfer to put the original caller on hold
  2. Press # then the extension (DN) of the user. Example #1234
  3. Press Transfer again to send the original caller to the recipients voicemail directly
  4. Leave your message
