CT Cloud Voice: Determining what direction the call is (SAS)

Goal

This article is to help you determine the direction of a call in SAS. 

First Step

If you already know the customers number this is fairly easy to determine the direction of a call, IF the number is on the left going to the right it would be an outbound call and if the customers DID is on the right the call would be an inbound call. 

If you are unsure what DID belongs to the customer or us you can use numberview to determine the ownership of the DID or if calls to that number are hitting our network. You will need to make a call to the DID from your cell phone and check SAS to see if it is hitting our network. 

Second Step

In the example below you can see that the call is an inbound call because the customers number is on the right.
